Join our Team as a part-time Teaching Assistant at Blackhorse Primary School in Emerson's Green!
Start Date: as soon as possible Salary: Grade 10, £24,702 - £25,979 FTE per annum (Actual Salary based on weeks worked and hours: £16,078.85 - £16,910.06 p.a.) Contract: Fixed term until August 2025Hours: 28 per week (8.45am-3.15pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am - 3.45pm Fridays), term time only, including INSET days (39 weeks) Thank you for your interest in working at Blackhorse Primary School. The Role:We're seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our Resource Base team and make a positive impact on the lives of our pupils. This part-time position offers a fantastic opportunity to join our exceptional team within a thriving and inclusive mainstream primary school.This position is fixed term until August 2025 subject to review of the school's budget. You are have experience of supporting autistic children in a primary school setting You have a good understanding and experience of working with children with complexity of need including SEMH, social communication difficulties, physical and sensory and cognition and learning You are flexible and versatile in a rapidly changing work environment; You have high expectations of what all pupils can achieve and are able to motivate and inspire confidence and independence in pupils; You have experience of both the EYFS and primary national curriculum and supporting children through differentiation and personalised learning approaches; You have good IT skills and understand how IT can be used to support learning; You are keen to undertake further training; You have proven experience of working as part of a successful team; You want to be a part of the whole school development process. ​Please refer to the candidate information pack for further information about this role.
