Are you a Quantity Surveyor with Dry Lining, Steel Framing Systems, Partitioning, Suspended Ceilings and plastering?

I am currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor who has worked within a subcontractor environment and has a strong knowledge and understanding of Dry Lining, Steel Framing Systems, Partitioning, Suspended Ceilings and plastering. You will be joining a multi discipline contractor, based in Rotherham who work with a wide range of clients.

You will be responsible for commercial projects, such as schools, retail, hospitality and commercial housing. Working within a close-knit team reporting directly to the managing director.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• To be involved in negotiation of prices and obtaining quotes for works, materials and plant as required in compliance with company procedure
• To quality check invoice details from all suppliers, ensuring the company gets value for money on all jobs carried out.
• To build strong relationships with our customers to ensure open communication and expectations of invoicing is met at all times.
• To prepare and submit regular and accurate cost/value reports. To manage the commercial aspects of subcontracts in compliance with commercial procedures. Includes obtaining quotations, evaluating tender returns, valuing subcontract works and payments and agreeing subcontract final accounts.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Relevant Degree or Qualifications
• Experience of managing multiple projects.
• Proven experience of developing client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent planning, organising, prioritisation and project management skills.
