iO Associates are looking for a Sourcing Specialist with over 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas, Nuclear industry, or a relevant engineering background to work within manufacturing operational environment. You will be responsible for supporting sourcing/procurement operations, reporting to the Project Director, oversees EPC projects, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to budgets and contracts. Key responsibilities include project management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing initiatives for optimal efficiency and success.

Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Aberdeen, UK
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies for EPC project execution, meeting customer requirements and project objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to customer contracts, timely delivery, and effective cost management.
- Act as the primary point of contact for sourcing-related deliverables, collaborating with project leaders and procurement teams.
- Lead contract management activities, including negotiation, review, and administration of contracts with suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to sourcing, procurement, and project execution.
Knowledge & Experience:
- Technical product knowledge, specifically in subsea production systems.
- 5-10 years of relevant sourcing experience, with at least 3 years within SPS&S Sourcing organization.
- Commercially and contractually aware with strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to work in a matrix environment and lead by influence.
- Proficient understanding of main procurement processes.
- Industry legal awareness, commercial awareness, and familiarity with logistics procedures.
- Risk assessment skills, including the ability to lead project risk review processes.
- Proficient in PC applications: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint.
