Job description
Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Manager with Nuclear experience for a 12 month contract based in Reading.
The role requires the management of a major contractors and their associated supply chain which are in various stages of design / procurement / manufacturing / fabricating / installation and commissioning of complex M&E scope. The role requires working under the Nuclear Project Director, the individual is required to be a proven and experienced, self–motivated individual to manage a scope of works with high quality grade components, within challenging time–scales with many interfaces and challenges to achieve to customer objectives. The time scales and interfaces are challenging and thus, the individual must be able to operate effectively with MoD at Executive level, Regulators, manage contractors scope and performance, with proven experience within NEC3. In doing so effectively managing teams and developing as required. The role is generally site based, although travel is essential in managing various sub–contractors and may even require co–location for a period of time. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years Project Management experience within the Nuclear sector, possess security clearance at a minimum of SC with the requirement to progress to DV.
