Stores and Delivery Driver - St Helens (15 mile radius)
£25,000 basic plus overtime + use of company vehicle
The role of the stores delivery driver will be to engage with all the relevant parties involved within the processes of booking in, storing & itemising and signing out of all the materials which are delivered to the warehouse.
This key position within the operations team will require the individual to deal with requests and deliveries in a safe, timely and professional manner.
Key responsibilities
- Make deliveries of key equipment to our client’s locations across the UK.
- Record and process deliveries received to the St Helens office via the booking in process.
- Collate, plan and deliver all stored project equipment to the agreed location on the confirmed time and date.
- Maintain a clean and safe working warehouse area.
- Maintain a clean and safe delivery vehicle.
- Assist the restocking and replenishment of products and supplies reference projects and service departments.
- Plan and execute the best routes for delivery of key equipment to various locations around the UK.
Skills and abilities
- Possess high standards of communication.
- Well organised and have attention to detail.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to work under pressure and time sensitive escalations.
- Knowledge of vehicular operation methods.
- Ideally experience of driving 3.5T LWB van
