Job description

Our client, based in Central Leicester, is an established and leading Media business seeking a Finance Business Partner on a permanent, full-time basis.

As Finance Business Partner, based in central Leicester, you will be responsible for the following:

• Providing monthly reporting, analysis, and insight into the business on the performance of each budget
• Responsible for accurate and rigorous financial forecast, including challenging assumptions and ensuring alignment between revenue and cost requirements
• Ensuring robust and accurate capital reporting and forecasting of all capital projects and expenditure across the business
• Providing ad hoc analysis to senior management and shareholder companies
• Improving financial process and practice, developing the effectiveness and quality of financial reports/management information
• Ensuring that the risk management processes are in place and that the risks are identified, evaluated, and controlled
• Managing the performance and development of the Assistant Accountant
• Undertaking projects and Finance Directorate initiative as required

Key requirements for the successful Finance Business Partner are as follows:

• Part-qualified or Fully Qualified (ACCA or CIMA)
• Previous and proven experience in a Finance Business Partner, FP & A, or Management Accountant role
• Strong IT Skills - Microsoft Office Suite
• Live within a commutable distance to Leicester centre
• People management (desirable and advantageous)

The successful Finance Business Partner, based in Leicester will be entitled to the following:

• Permanent contract
• Annual Salary up to £55,000 dependent on experience
