Job description
We have a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join a fast paced & growing engineering company based in West London. They are looking for someone to cover on an interim basis for approximately 3 x months (maybe longer) and you must be available to start immediately.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial books and records and prepare accurate & timely monthly management accounts for the business
- Provide essential financial control and planning
- Preparation of month end accounts
- Manage and develop all aspects of purchase authorisation and payments
- Preparation of weekly flash, quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Ensure compliance with company internal control procedures.
- Monthly preparation of customer reporting
- Generate and present a range of financial and ad hoc reports for use by both internal and external customers.
- Ad hoc financial analysis.
Requirements:
- Part or Fully qualified ACCA / CIMA / ACA or equivalent
- Previous experience in Engineering/Logistics or similar sectors is useful
- Advanced Excel skills
- Professional with a hands on and flexible attitude
- Accurate with an excellent eye for detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Self-motivated able to work on their own initiative
