Role: EYFS Teaching Assistant

Location: Prescot

Working Hours: 8:30-3:30, Monday to Friday

Salary: £80 – 90 per day

Connex Education are looking for compassionate and nurturing teaching assistants for an upcoming role with a local primary school in Prescot. This school is seeking an EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team ASAP on a full-time basis. This will initially be contracted until July 2024, with a view of moving to a permanent contract for the right person. 

The role will be supporting in their reception classroom as a general TA, whilst also helping to support SEN children in a small group capacity when required. You will have the full support of an excellent team of teaching assistants, class teachers and SLT in the school.

Requirements

• Level 2/3 qualification (CACHE, NVQ, BTEC, Childcare, NNEB, etc.) is desirable
• GCSEs or equivalent Level 2 in Maths and English.
• Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally with EYFS
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hold a DBS on the Update service or willing to obtain one through Connex.
