Job description

Croxford Electrical Ltd are looking for a hardworking, team-player to join us as a labourer/handyperson.

The majority of work will be at our industrial client’s site in Long Buckby. Transport can be provided from our unit in Hillmorton, Rugby, if required.

Hours of work will be 8:30 – 17:00, Monday to Friday, with an unpaid half hour break for lunch, plus opportunities for out-of-hours overtime.

This will be a physically demanding role, with some outside work, so the ideal candidate must be used to working in all weather conditions. You should have some experience of using hand-tools. A head for heights is also essential, as some works will take place at height.

You will work under supervision of an experienced electrician. Main duties will include:
• Cleaning and preparing site
• Loading and unloading materials and equipment
• Using hand tools to neatly install runs, ready for the electrician to install cabling
• Ensuring worksite is clean and safe
• Other labouring/handyperson duties, as and when required

Please note that CSCS card and electrical qualifications are NOT required for this job role.
