Job description
Join 2gether Support Solutions as a General Manager for one of our three main hospital sites in Kent!
Lead the delivery of integrated Total Facilities Management services (Estates and Soft facilities services), collaborating with executive leadership to ensure operational excellence and compliance
These roles will play a critical part in the delivery of our business strategy; you will be joining us at a pivotal point in our company journey, with significant opportunities to shape and develop our service delivery.
A pragmatic, engaging, and dynamic leader, you will oversee all TFM services (Hard and Soft) within one of our three major hospital sites via direct and/or indirect resources. Having extensive experience in the delivery of integrated Total Facilities Management (TFM) solutions, you must be able to demonstrable a suitable level of experience in the successful management of multi-layered service solutions.
Reporting to the Strategic Director of Operations, you will work closely with the local East Kent Hospitals University Foundation Trust Executive leadership team to ensure that all Estates and Soft Facilities services are delivered in a cohesive, timely, effective, and efficient manner.
The post holder will be an excellent communicator, who actively engages with their team in support of the development of a high-performing operating environment. They will be expected to uphold the core values of the business and have a solid understanding of all associated; health & safety, buildings statutory compliance, food standards, cleaning standards, M&E and capital planned works legislative requirements.
Further responsibilities
• Overall management of site budget; ensuring appropriate levels of control, governance and assurance.
• Ensure that the site meets all its statutory, regulatory, and contractual requirements.
• Develop, coach, and encourage excellent operational leadership, implementing an effective management structure.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships, role modelling clear and transparent communication both internally and externally.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Who we're looking for
• An experienced and professional Senior leader with a track record of achievement within a large TFM company or a similar healthcare setting/comparable public organisation; proven experience managing the large-scale delivery of high-quality TFM services.
• Effective and professional relationship development skills; passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• Motivational and dynamic Manager who values developing team potential and encouraging continuous improvement.
• A strong knowledge of legislative compliance, business governance and P&L/budget control.
• Education to degree level or equivalent.
• Professional membership of of recognised Estates or Facilities bodies (i.e. IOSH, CEng, IWFM).
