Construction / Site Administrator
Based in Sunderland - fully on-site role
Full Time | Monday to Friday | 8:00am to 4:30pm (3:30pm Friday) | 39 hours per week
Temp role | minimum of 2 years
Pay rate up to £15.00 per hour depending on experience

Search Consultancy are currently working a reputable nationwide Construction business to recruit a Site Administrator for one of their new major Construction sites based in Sunderland.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive Administration & Secretarial support to the site on a full-time temp basis for a minimum of 2 years

Duties involved in this role will include:
* Full management of the site Reception including answering & transferring calls, taking messages where appropriate & scheduling appointments
* Answering all incoming general correspondence & emails
* Organising & booking on-site and off-site meetings
* Management of databases and internal office systems such as SmartWaste, Biosite & Procore
* Assist with the implementation of Administration processes & procedures on-site, managing these on an ongoing basis, implementing improvements where possible
* Acting as first point of contact for all site staff, suppliers & clients including security, cleaning, Fire Safety and maintenance
* Organisation of site & staff Health & Safety inductions, management of training records & desk risk assessments
* Carrying out ad hoc administration duties including filing, archiving & ordering of office supplies
* Financial administration including purchase orders and invoice processing, in line with company standards

In order to be considered for this role your skills and experience should include:
* Recent & relevant experience in a similar role carrying out duties in line with the above, preferably within a Construction Site Admin role - this experience is essential
* Candidates with experience of using systems such as Viewpoint, 4Projects, Biosite or SmartWaste would be preferred
* Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage & prioritise a busy workload effectively
* Excellent interpersonal & communication skills, both written and verbal
* Solid IT Skills including the use of Word, Excel & Outlook, as well as the ability to pick up new systems quickly
