As an Assistant Accountant you will play a pivotal role in supporting our finance department's day-to-day operations. They are seeking an individual with a strong commercial understanding and a keen eye for detail to help them maintain accurate financial records and contribute to strategic decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct thorough analysis of financial data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Support the finance team in ad-hoc projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
