Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Kidderminster

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Flexible hybrid working available

Company Overview & Job Title:

One of the world’s most advanced and prestigious engineering organizations based in Kidderminster who are a global leader in multiple industries for Electrification, Fuel Cell Electric Vehicle, Autonomous Driving, Connected Mobility, and many more sectors are now seeking to hire a brand-new Electrical Design Engineer to join the successful and growing business.

Salary:

The salary on offer for the successful Electrical Design Engineer is £45,000 – £55,000 per annum , depending on skillset & experience.

Flexible hybrid working arrangement:

Working 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home is available.

The role:

The successful Electrical Design Engineer will take responsibility for the design and support for the integration of electrical facilities installations and control system integrations.

Electrical Design Engineer Key Skills:

• 2-3+ years minimum industry experience
• Produce detailed calculations to assist in the rating of customer supplied transformer sub-stations.
• Produce single line power distribution diagrams
• Produce electrical sub-contract specifications.
• Produce LV Switchboard and GP distribution board schedules.

Bonus nice to have skills:

• MSc/MEng or PhD in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Lowe Voltage Directive
• Knowledge of 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations
• Knowledge of ePLAN P8 (not essential)
• Electrical Building Design Experience – Amtech / Trimble.
