We have an excellent opportunity available for a Senior or Principal Ecologist, with flexibility to be based anywhere in South East England.
About the job:
You will be working for a thriving Ecological and Arboricultural consultancy, established for almost 20 years now, and recently reaching a headcount of over 80 employees around the UK, having grown both their HQ and ecologist teams.
The company has their HQ in the North West, but most Consultants work remotely (following a week of onboarding), enabling the consultancy to provide an excellent service to clients all over the UK, as well as benefiting employees who prefer the freedom and flexibility of working from home.

Salary for Senior Ecologist is circa £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, and Principal Ecologist salaries start at £40,000 with no upper ceiling - if what you bring to the table is in line with your salary expectations, the sky is the limit!
About you:
We would love to hear from you if you're a Senior or Principal Ecologist (5+ years UK experience) - ideally a Member of CIEEM or RSB - with expertise in the following areas:
Field identification and survey work
Class 1 (preferably Class 2 or working towards) Bat License
Biodiversity Net Gain
Mentoring and coaching junior staff
Knowledge of UK planning policy, best practice and relevant legislation
You'll be confident, outgoing, and enjoyable to work with, with excellent attention to detail and unafraid of questioning the status quo or getting stuck in to challenging projects!
