ENGINEERING
The Design Engineering Departments at Spirit AeroSystems in Belfast offer opportunities to work alongside other specialists from a range of disciplines in cross-functional teams. These teams work in a wide variety of projects including Research & Development, Engineering support to sustaining programmes and new product development. Engineers are offered positions according to the requirements of the skills groups listed below and are then placed in the appropriate project teams according to experience and personal preference. Movement between projects occurs as business needs demand and internal opportunities arise.
We are now seeking suitably qualified, experienced and highly motivated aerospace engineering technical specialists and managers at various levels in the following fields:
STRESS (Senior and Experienced)
These roles require good specialist knowledge of aircraft structure and systems, the associated regulatory requirements, applied analysis methods and testing procedures. Preferably applicants will have relevant experience in the fields of composite primary structure, durability and damage tolerance, or finite element analysis. Experience of analysis and dossier/report, checking and approval is also advantageous.
(Relevant educational disciplines – Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering).
Successful candidates will be graded against their performance at interview and their alignment to the below responsibilities.
Candidate criteria and key job responsibilities are given below:
Level 2 Engineer (Senior) Competitive salary + (Incentive Programme in place)
Level 3 Engineer (Senior) Competitive salary + (Incentive Programme in place)
Level 4 Engineer (Senior) Competitive salary + (Incentive Programme in place)
Band 6 Engineer (Experienced) Competitive salary
