Location: Leigh
Salary: up to c£50000 depending on experience
Multi skilled Engineer hours: 4 on, 4 off, 2 days, 2 nights

Due to their ambitious growth plans, there is a new role available in the Maintenance team as a Multi skilled Engineer to support the Company on their journey to becoming a world class food manufacturing facility.
Reporting to the Lead Engineer, the Multi skilled Engineer will:
- Carry out ongoing repairs and maintenance across site
- Ensure Engineering Work Requests are completed to agreed timescales and carry out planned work during none ‘Breakdown’ situations
- Maintain strong lines of communication between the engineering and manufacturing teams
- Ensure effective handovers between shifts and a full detailed shift log is completed and sent out
- To ensure the highest standards of health & safety, food safety and other manufacturing practices are being achieved and maintained by yourself
- Understand downtime issues & targets
- Work with the senior improvements engineer to carry out line improvements
- Participate in CI activities on shift
As the Multi skilled Engineer , you will:
- Be a multiskilled electrically biased time served engineer – HNC level or above
- Be computer literate with a knowledge of CMMS systems
- Have sound knowledge of workplace health and safety
- Have FMCG experience (preferable in the food industry)
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
