SEN Transition Practitioner

Ref: ME2324079

Hours: 37 hours per week. You will be required to be at work for a total of 1480 hours per year. This will usually be completed over a period of 40 weeks based around student term times. Holiday, including entitlement to Bank Holidays and Closure Days, will be taken outside this working time, unless by prior arrangement with your line manager

Salary: In the range of £25,249 - £27,476 per annum pro-rata, actual salary in the range of £22,368 - £24,341 per annum (Dependent on skills, experience and qualifications)

Reporting to: Assistant Principal School of Academic & Vocational Support

Primary Location: Northampton, Booth Lane Campus/Lower Mounts/Daventry

Closing Date: Thursday 14th March 2024

The Role

The purpose of this role is to work closely with the college’s SENCo to ensure students with SEN experience a successful transition into the FE college setting. The post holder will be responsible for assisting SEN students and their parents/carers to access the college at the pre-entry stage to find out about the college’s support offer.
