Job Title: Maternity Nanny/Nurse (Mandarin Speaking Preferred)
Location: Westminster, London
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: April 2024
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8-10 hours per day (flexible), or 24/5 (24 hours on duty, 5 days a week)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
An amazing family based in Westminster is seeking a dedicated and experienced Maternity Nanny/Nurse to care for their adorable 2-month-old baby. The ideal candidate will have experience in infant care, preferably with newborns, and be proficient in Mandarin, although proficiency in English is also required.
Responsibilities:
Providing attentive and nurturing care to the baby, ensuring all needs are met throughout the day and night if working on the 24/5 schedule.
Following the baby's established routine for feeding, sleeping, and playtime.
Engaging the baby in developmentally appropriate activities to stimulate growth and learning.
Maintaining a safe and clean environment for the baby, including sterilizing bottles and toys, changing diapers, and tidying nursery areas.
Monitoring the baby's health and well-being, promptly reporting any concerns to the parents.
Collaborating with the parents to ensure consistency in care and routines.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Maternity Nanny/Nurse or similar role, with a strong background in newborn care.
Fluent in Mandarin preferred, with proficiency in English required for effective communication with the family.
Knowledgeable about infant development and care techniques, including feeding, sleep training, and soothing techniques.
Valid DBS and first aid certification
Patient, nurturing, and attentive demeanour, with a genuine love for working with infants.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
