After years of success, Niwaki wants to take the next step in their growth by hiring their first ever Head of Marketing.
This role will lead the development and implementation of our global marketing and PR
strategy, serving our business objectives.
The Head of Marketing will implement effective market and category expansion strategies and develop and execute best-in-class campaigns to drive brand awareness and support sales growth.
You'll be…
- Setting global Marketing and PR strategy for the short, medium and long-term future to meet growth targets (1–5-year horizon)
- Creating a clear strategy and pathway for the marketing department to transition from small to large company – including commercial growth, capability development, team structure evolution and infrastructure development.
- Ensuring all plans operate within agreed budget parameters, driving efficiency to ensure the most effective use of resources.
- Responsible for the Marketing and PR P&L – held accountable for delivering top and bottom-line commercial results. Work with SLT to re-forecast as needed.
- Managing global media relations through collaboration with PR firms and journalists to enhance Brand presence globally.
- Monitoring competition (acquisitions, pricing changes, new products, and features) and sharing updates via regular formal/informal competitor reports to drive competitive differentiation.
- Ensuring consistent brand and comms strategy are seamlessly executed across all regions globally per our brand standards and guidelines.
- Managing, motivating and nurturing the marketing team, spanning the functional areas of digital marketing, partnerships, social media, content, press and events.
- Effectively work cross-department, ensuring buy-in from all key dept stakeholders for project delivery.
You'll have…
- Experience in leading with a track record of success in growing dynamic lifestyle FMCG and/or Durable Goods omnichannel brands.
- Extensive marketing and comms experience, preferably for a FMCG and or Durable Goods brand.
- Expertise across core marketing functions, including paid media, brand marketing, cross-channel communications, PR and partnerships.
- Ability to build bottom-up ROI plans to evaluate project viabilities and priorities effectively.
- Experience leveraging consumer insights to address barriers to purchase.
- Able to clearly set business objectives and priorities and measure successes based on KPIs (both quantitative and qualitative metrics).
- Experience in implementing marketing plans and initiatives on an international level.
- Experience overseeing online and offline marketing channels – SEM/SEO, programmatic, affiliates, print, OOH, direct mail, etc.
- Strong business judgement and decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritise, and articulate highest impact initiatives.
Salary: £60,000 - negotiable for the right candidate
Logistics: West Country office based - with some days in London
The ideal candidate will be able to commute to Wiltshire.
