Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our reputable dental practice and provide high-quality dental care to our patients. As a Dentist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing, treating, and preventing oral diseases and conditions, while ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction.
*Responsibilities:*
1. Conducting thorough dental examinations to assess oral health, including assessments of teeth, gums, and surrounding tissues.
2. Diagnosing and treating dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay, using a variety of restorative and surgical techniques.
3. Performing dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, root canal therapy, and periodontal treatments, with precision and care.
4. Developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's individual needs and oral health goals.
5. Educating patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive dental care, and treatment options, and empowering them to make informed decisions about their oral health.
6. Administering local anesthesia and sedation as needed to ensure patient comfort during dental procedures.
7. Taking and interpreting dental radiographs (X-rays) to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
8. Monitoring and managing the progress of ongoing dental treatments, ensuring optimal outcomes and patient satisfaction.
9. Documenting patient information, treatment plans, and clinical notes accurately and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with data protection regulations.
10. Collaborating with other members of the dental team, including dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
*Requirements:*
1. Bachelor's degree in Dentistry from a recognized institution.
2. Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a Dentist.
3. Previous experience working as a Dentist preferred.
4. Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental procedures and treatments.
5. Excellent clinical skills, including dexterity, attention to detail, and precision.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with patients.
7. Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest advancements in dentistry.
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary dental team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
9. Knowledge of dental software systems and digital radiography preferred.
