Technical Team Leader
£32,000 - £36,000 Per Annum

We are currently recruiting for Technical Teams Leaders for a world-class company at their site in Magna Park, Lutterworth, LE17.
We are looking for dynamic individuals who can manage, coach, motivate and engage a team of repair technicians to reach the desired outcomes.
We are looking for someone who has strong interpersonal skills, the ability to prioritise workloads and engage a team to meet goals. You will need to be reactive to changing requirements and proactive in forward planning and best practice.
The role will involve achieving technical and business goals through effective process compliance management, continuous improvement, quality and focus on self and team development.

We are looking for people with experience team leading experience within a technical role, such as an electrical/electronics repair environment or automotive component production. It’s essential you understand logical processes.
Duties:
- Leading a team of repair technicians who are diagnosing, repairing and testing electronics
- Ensuring the weekly and daily production schedules are planned and delivered effectively
- Continually evaluating and improving the planning and processes on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
- Drive the team to reach goals and support and coach for best possible outcomes
- Create and maintain a positive team culture, encouraging involvement from all the team members and recognising achievements
- Provide end of day production line analysis and report this directly to the senior management team
- Proactively use problem solving techniques to meet future and current team targets
- Use Method Time Measurement (MTM) or similar methodology in your production processes
Requirements:
- Experience of electrics/electronic diagnostics, testing and repairing or automotive component production
- Previous experience of managing and leading team in a production environment
- Must be a logical thinker who can interpret data and be proactive on acting on it
- GSX, WMS and SAP experience would be advantageous
- Able to prioritise workloads
- Be able to react to change quickly and effectively for best possible outcomes
- Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Proven experience of adapting and leading programmes of change
- Excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- GSX, WMS and SAP experience
- Relevant NVQ Qualification
- Knowledge of line management tools/techniques such as MTM/MOST or similar
- First line manager training qualifications
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday
06:00am – 14:30pm or 13:00pm – 21:00pm
Flexibility around business requirements is necessary.
