Research Director, Clinical Psychology Training Programme
Faculty of Medicine and Health
We are looking for an experienced Clinical Psychologist to join the senior leadership team of the clinical psychology training programme at the University of Leeds. We are looking for a candidate with extensive knowledge of supporting the doctoral research of trainee clinical psychologists within a University setting.
The University of Leeds has a longstanding and highly regarded clinical psychology training programme. As Research Director, you will take lead responsibility for managing, monitoring, co-ordinating and developing the research components of the Doctoral Training programme in Clinical Psychology. You will have a senior leadership role in maintaining doctoral standards and will coordinate supervision and assessment of doctoral research projects, and oversee the university processes applicable to postgraduate research students. You will demonstrate a strong professional commitment to research and associated activities. You will contribute to the programme's ongoing success in the provision of a high-quality doctoral programme in West Yorkshire, training clinical psychologists who can meet the workforce needs of the NHS.
