Job description
We are currently seeking an experienced Head of Delivery to join a well-established, family-run SME based in Lisburn. The role of Head of Delivery is to manage all day-to-day aspects of hotel refurbishment projects on site throughout Ireland. This includes the management of subcontractors, suppliers and site teams in lined with the project budget, client expectations and for the full benefit of GDC Interiors. This includes responsibility for the financial aspects, ensure efficiency, accuracy, and transparency, ensuring GP is protected for on projects. The role will involve collaborating closely with the Managing Director, Technical Director and all team members.
MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversight and management of each all projects to ensure clients requirements are fully met while in line with how the project has been sold.
- Responsible to ensure all projects are being properly tracked and structured using Procore system
- Project Reporting – Manage Status & provide reports where necessary on Revenue, Actual Costs, Committed Costs and WIP
- Weekly WIP reporting on all projects.
- Oversight of Health and Safety for all sites
- Ensuring accurate timelines are built for each project and agreed with client
- Overseeing the project managers and ensuring every project is tracking correctly
- Responsible for the GP of every project and ensure this can be improved
- Responsible for subcontractors/suppliers are working to agreed timelines
- Responsible to hold weekly client meetings on projects
- Ad hoc tasks as they arise to support the finance, design, and project teams in all project matters.
Requirements
- Experience of working with or in hotels
- Construction knowledge
- Project management leadership
- Using Procore or similar project management system
- Recognised Project management degree experience is desirable.
- Excellent computer Literacy Skills particularly MS Excel. MS Office and project management experience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships with key stakeholders / team members, both internal and external
