QA Engineer – Developer in Test
Location: Remote
Type: Permanent/ Full Time/ Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to 40k per annum

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of a fast-paced, customer-centric online retail environment.

The Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Manual QA Tester to play a key role in our development team. As a Manual QA Tester, you will be responsible for manually testing our e-commerce website throughout the development cycle, ensuring functionality, usability, and consistency for an optimal user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct manual tests on our e-commerce website to identify bugs and usability issues.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand new features and updates.
• Create detailed, well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Document and report defects and errors to the development team.
• Work closely with the team to prioritise and resolve issues.
• Provide feedback on usability and suggest improvements.
• Assist in optimising testing processes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies.

Required Skills:
• Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester, preferably in e-commerce.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with web-based technologies and platforms.
• A passion for providing a flawless user experience.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience i.e. ISTQB certification/CSTE certification
