Reporting to the Director and working closely with other colleagues, the role will focus on delivering Glasgow DoorsOpen Days Festival, including fundraising, developing an events programme, liaising with participants andpartner organisations, marketing, press and publicity for the event (in conjunction with GBPT’s Marketing andAudience Development Officer).

This role is full time. However, candidates wishing to propose delivering the role in a part time capacity might beconsidered.

The post will initially be offered on a probationary period of 6 months.

The starting salary will be £30,000 - £32,500 per annum, dependent on experience.

The post is largely office-based, at Glasgow Building Preservation Trust offices at the Wellpark Enterprise Centre,120 Sydney Street, Glasgow.

Occasional home working can be accommodated, and the role will involve visiting buildings, attending meetings outwith the office and evening and weekend working, particularly during the festival itself. Time off in lieu willbe granted for agreed working out of normal working hours.

Following successful completion of the probationary period, you will be eligible for enrolment into the company’spension scheme including an employer’s contribution of 6.0% of salary.

Supporting the Heritage Project Manager to deliverour heritage project, “Made to Last: Connecting Communities Through Collection”.

Ando Glaso looking to appoint 2 Project Officers for the NLHF-funded project, Roma Empowerment Through IntangibleCultural Heritage. These roles will be part time (0.6 FTE), running over 24 months, and will act as the keyproject staff, organising events, connecting with people from Scotland’s Roma community, recording theirheritage and culture, and sharing this through a range of outlets.

The post holders will work closely with the Creative Director to deliver the project outputs as part of a ModernApprenticeship: the role holders will have the opportunity to achieve a SVQ Level 7 in Digital Marketing as partof their work. Time will be given during working hours to complete coursework as part of this opportunity, whichwill be assessed by Museum Galleries Scotland. The role holders will also be offered mentoring from anexperienced communications professional within the wider heritage sector, with additional development supportoffered through membership of the Scottish Heritage Social Media Group.

Ando Glaso (Registered Charity: SC050416) was established in 2016 to encourage greater understanding andparticipation in the cultural heritage of the Roma people in Scotland. Ando Glaso’s mission is not only tostrengthen and support Roma people; but to work with diverse communities and stakeholders across Scotland tocelebrate and promote Roma cultural heritage

Role Description:

Project Officers will be expected to undertake travel (a budget for this is provided through the project funding),and some out of hours work may be required.

Street Level Photoworks is a photography centre in Glasgow which has a year round programme of exhibitions andengagement activities in its home venue in Trongate 103 and through a network of local, regional andinternational partnerships. It develops and delivers a diverse programme of community collaborations whichrecently has included various participatory arts projects in Govanhill and the Gorbals shaped by local peoplethrough the national Culture Collective programme. Street Level manage the Photography Networks in Scotlandplatform and is a member of Scotland’s Workshops, a network of artists production centres in Scotland.

Street Level has a small and dynamic team and is supported by Creative Scotland.

We are seeking to appoint a Finance Coordinator who will manage financial and administrative duties playing a keyrole in developments which ensure the organisation can achieve its ambitions, maintain quality provision,increase efficiency and improve commercial activity and organisational resilience.

In your experience, you will have demonstrated energy and stamina in the role and will be known by colleagues to behighly organised and dependable. As an eloquent communicator, you will have the natural ability to fine tune andmaximise the message to the desired audience. To support your communication strategy, you will have experiencein establishing a CRM system and will bring energy and creativity to reporting.
