The Recruitment process
We will aim to shortlist within 1 week of application and are anticipating interviews will commence 21st March with a 2-part process via TEAMS and in person at our offices in Burton Latimer.

Requirements
The role
As a valuable member of our Capital Projects team, you will play a crucial role in planning, implementing, and monitoring important business projects that have specific goals. You will oversee the progress, cost, and allocation of resources for these projects.
Possess outstanding team management skills overseeing a dynamic team of Project Engineers and external contractors, providing clear guidance and support.
Your responsibility will also include managing a Capital budget and its associated projects. It is imperative that you spend Weetabix Capital funds responsibly, aligning with the business' strategy and needs, while mitigating operational and regulatory risks.
In addition, you will take the initiative to lead projects and introduce best practices, all while fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.

• Collaborate with the project team to develop a well-structured project plan and schedule, outlining a clear sequence of activities.
• Efficiently manage the day-to-day operations of projects, meticulously maintaining all required documentation and measuring the delivery of milestones.
• Regularly assess the quality of completed work with the project team, ensuring it aligns with project standards and achieves the desired goals.
• Forge strong partnerships with stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient project implementation, keeping them consistently informed about project status and progress.
• Proactively gather feedback from Business Units, quickly identifying and resolving any potential risks, while also sharing valuable insights and learnings.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and Weetabix requirements throughout all projects.
• Successfully achieve predetermined financial targets, effectively demonstrating performance through accurate and up-to-date monthly reports and budget sheets.

• Engineering qualification (HNC or equivalent)
• Safety qualifications, i.e. SMSTS, FAAW and NEBOSH
