Job description

We’re looking for a Reception Manager for our client’s luxury 5* Hotel based in Heathrow, West London.
As a Reception Manager you will be confident in effectively communicating with guests and colleagues as the first point of contact. You will be engaging and warm, with a genuine passion for customer service ensuring all guests receive exceptional service. You will be tasked with checking guests in and out, using the booking system effectively, up-selling and answering any guests queries face to face or over the phone. You will manage a small team of Receptionists. You will be organised and react promptly and efficiently as requested to meet the needs of the business. You will be tasked with using the company booking system to record all guest information.
You will be required to review room allocation and make sure the correct rooms are allocated to the right guest. You will be knowledgeable and understanding of all rates, packages, and special promotions. You will be required to recruit, manage, train, and develop the reception team.
Reporting on sales revenue weekly, monthly and when required in a clear, concise, and standardised way.

Previous experience of supervising or managing team is desirable, excellent Communications skills both oral and written. Good knowledge and experience of working in an hotel reservations environment. High levels of customer service are essential for this role.
You will need to be IT literate – Office 365, proficient in Excel, word, and Outlook. Ability to work with a room’s sales budget and accurately re-forecast if necessary.
