About the Role:
Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to a student at a school in Worcester. As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in offering personalized assistance to a specific student with unique learning needs, ensuring they have the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with a specific student, providing tailored support to their learning and well-being.
Assist in implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and other support strategies as directed by the SENCO and teaching staff.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment, promoting the student's participation and independence.
Collaborate with teachers and support staff to ensure the student's individual needs are met effectively.
Maintain accurate records of the student's progress and communicate regularly with relevant stakeholders, including parents and external professionals.
Qualifications:
Experience working with students with diverse learning needs is advantageous.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students in their educational journey.
A commitment to inclusive education and a willingness to undergo relevant training and development as required.
