We are looking for a passionate, experienced and creative marketing manager to lead our Software Composition Analysis and Software Installation product marketing and demand gen marketing efforts. We’ll expect you to provide solution positioning, content development, product launch activities, thought leadership, sales readiness and persona development and execute lead generation campaigns against the target personas.
You will report to the Director of Product and Digital Marketing and develop strong messaging and go-to-market plans in alignment with business goals. You will also work closely with Demand Generation and Sales and Product Management on campaign planning and execution. You’ll plan and execute strategies and integrated tactics with a strong focus on Digital Marketing to ensure product success and increased awareness.
Detailed Responsibilities:
• Own the budget and campaign planning for two products and manage a balanced marketing mix that drives our lead, pipeline and booking goals consistently.
• Analyze the campaign results and optimize the go-to-market efforts together with Sales based on field feedback and campaign performance.
• Develop competitive positioning for the software products focused on Software Composition Analysis and Installation by using competitive analysis and input from product management, strategy, engineering and sales
• Create content as components to market awareness and demand generation programs. This includes contributing to website content, eBooks, videos and interactive content, speaking engagements, award submissions, blogs, social and more.
• Amplify content via all our distribution channels – owned (web, digital), earned (PR, AR, thought leadership) and paid (demand gen, events)
• Manage product launches in partnership with Product Management and orchestrate efforts between Product Marketing and other work peers.
• Partner with corporate communications and PR agencies to identify and target key analysts/influencers and media outlets to drive positive coverage and preference
• Conduct ongoing market analysis and build strong relationships with key stakeholders at Revenera to ensure relevance of messaging and programs. Build strong insights on market trends, requirements and the competitive landscape and continuously refine positioning.
• Annual and quarterly campaign planning and management to meet lead and sales pipeline targets. Fully responsible for managing resource to meet targets
• Driving campaign execution directly and with specialist team members – setting the pace to achieve timely outcomes
• Campaign innovation; sourcing new vendors/platforms and campaign types to generate the correct leads for the business. Researching market-place campaigns; what works well with a view to improving our practices
• Campaign ROI analysis to optimize performance of campaigns
Required Skills & Experience
• BS/BA degree in marketing or equivalent
• At least 5 years product/solution marketing experience in B2B software / IoT / IT
• Proven track record of product marketing success (domain knowledge in the field of software composition analysis or software installation a plus)
• Experience developing focused go-to-market strategies, messaging and related tactics in close cooperation with Product Management and Sales
• Experience and proven results running lead generation campaigns through paid channels such as Paid Social, Paid Search and Advertising, Including tracking of, monitoring and optimization of campaigns to achieve lead and pipeline outcomes
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and strong content development skills (crisp messaging and compelling presentation of content) in presentation, writing and editing skills
• Ability to conduct market, competitor and customer research
• Proven interaction, interface and project management with cross-functional teams including product management, demand generation, field sales and marketing agencies
• Passionate and solution-driven team worker and collaborator with enthusiasm for the software and technology industry.
• Excellent computer skills, especially Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook as well as collaboration and content management tools
