Job description

Warehouse Supervisor / Delivery Driver required for a temp-to-perm assignment with a wholesale company based in Bristol, BS3.

• Monday - Friday, 9am – 5pm
• £29,500 per annum
• Free parking on site, or close to bus stop (U2, 505, 24, X1, X2, X3, X4, X6, X7, X8, X9)
• Start ASAP
• Weekly paid for first 16 weeks before transferring to a permanent contract

About the job

• To deputise for the manager in their absence
• Responsible for picking stock and loading vans
• Manage incoming deliveries of stock
• Completing relevant paperwork
• Operation of forklift within the warehouse – training can be provided
• Supporting the delivery team – covering absences or during busy periods
• When required to do delivery driving – approx. 12 drops per day within 30-mile radius of depot

The right candidate

• Comfortable with regular lifting, carrying and driving
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment as order picker, warehouse operative, goods in etc
• Basic IT skills
• Great customer service skills, as you will dealing with local independent retailers!
• Full UK Manual driving licence with no more than 3 points.
