Commodity Trader
Salary: £40,000 to £60,000 (DOE)
Location: South Yorkshire
Grafton Recruitment is delighted to be working with a successful business who are looking for Trader to join their team in the South Yorkshire area. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving sales and developing client relationships.
The Role:
Some of your responsibilities as a Trader are listed below:
- Trading of comprehensive range of metal powders.
- Use your market knowledge, negotiation skills and industry connections to secure profitable deals and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers.
- Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Execute trades in accordance with established strategies and risk management protocols.
- Monitor market conditions and adjust trading positions as necessary to optimise results.
- Source and identify potential suppliers and buyers for our client's products.
- Assess and manage risks associated with metals trading, such as credit risks, market volatility, and supply disruptions.
The Candidate:
The ideal a Trader:
- Proven experience in metals powders trading or a related commodities trading role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex market data.
- Proficiency in risk management and a strategic approach to trading activities.
- Strong interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in dynamic trading environment, with a high level adaptability and resilience.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
