The RPS Water Technical business is a team of Engineers,Modellers and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategydevelopment, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning anddelivery.
Due to continued framework wins, we are lookingto appoint a number of Senior Clean Water Modellers at various locations acrossthe UK. Our Senior Clean Water Modellers lead our team in providing modelling,calibration and analytical support on a range of clean water projects.

RPS Water Technical is a team of Engineers, Modellers and Data Analysts providing Asset Management and Operational Strategy development, to our Water Industry clients to support business planning and delivery. This is an evolving industry, providing challenges and opportunities which require innovation, dedication and team work to help us meet our clients’ needs.

It’s an exciting time to be working for our UK Water business as workload in the water market really takes off.With a broad portfolio of long-term framework agreements in place, we are ideally placed to help our clients deliver on the challenges facing them over the coming years - whether that is reducing leakage, pollution and flooding, or improving the environment and levels of service to their customers.
Our Water business employs around 1000 highly skilled and motivated people working on projects for all of the water and sewerage companies across the UK, and most of the water-only companies.We deliver a full range of end to end water and wastewater services including data collection and analytics; modelling and risk analysis / optimisation; data visualisation and mapping; artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions; feasibility studies; outline and detailed design of capital solutions; and development of optimised, risk based, operational interventions.

Main Responsibilities
Technical development and delivery of clean water hydraulic models, including model construction and calibration, model use studies, optioneering and analysis studies, to time, budget and the required quality
Leadership of modelling project teams delivering a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects
Line Management of project team members with responsibility for: day-to-day leadership and direction for team, workload planning and prioritisation, provision of technical direction and support, driving staff performance, motivation and career development
Ensuring quality of modelling outputs and compliance with standards, specifications and governance requirements
Accountable for commercial performance and forecasting of projects, and the production of bids and proposals.
Build, maintain and manage strong and collaborative working relationships with clients
Continual improvement of modelling tools, procedures and processes to drive efficiency and innovation
Maintaining and reporting on overall programme of work and associated resource demands
Developing and improving relationships and collaboration with other internal RPS modelling teams
Contribute to commercial performance, forecasting and risk management, and the production of bids and proposals
Management of all health and safety, quality and environmental aspects of projects
Travelling to the client and/or other RPS offices might be required, depending on location
