CBTax are seeking Delivery Director to join our team to support the firms continued growth across the UK. Our team is the backbone of our success, and as Delivery Director you will oversee and ensure the successful delivery of all client projects.

Leading a team of Associate Directors, Delivery Managers and their teams, you will work to ensure successful client engagement, developing strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally.

You will oversee the delivery team operating across our entire client portfolio collaborating with Associate Directors, Delivery Managers, Delivery team and the clients themselves. You will be confident about solving our most challenging problems and issues, working across the business to deliver exemplary client outcomes.

Your role as Delivery Director is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of all client projects, providing high-level delivery expertise, and acting as a consultant and mentor to Associate Directors and Delivery Managers, driving consistency and implementing best practices throughout the department.

Key Responsibilities

• Defining Delivery strategy, working closely with the COO to ensure alignment with the Operational teams and wider business, driving growth and positive transformation within Delivery
• Applying delivery expertise to support multiple client engagements as required, enabling focus for Associate Directors and Delivery Managers and coverage where applicable
• Leading and Optimising the delivery process and best practices to build a consistent and efficient Delivery department.
• Removing blockers for the wider team, and acting as a primary contact for any client escalation requirement, working with the team and the client towards problem resolution
• Identifying potential risks and challenges that could impact the delivery of client projects across the business, developing out-of-the-box solutions to best mitigate risk to CBTax and the client
• Role modelling a delivery and outcome-focused way of working, never losing sight of the end goal for our clients, matching the current demands to the future plans and driving predictability through metrics
• Acting as a mentor both internally and externally, enhancing the capability of the wider Delivery department

• Advocate, coach and drive a culture of continuous improvement, through consistent inspection and adaptation
• Any other ad hoc related duties and projects as required

Required Experience

• A Delivery Director with experience across multiple client sectors
• Offer extensive experience from a Professional Services company
• Are skilled at enabling highly skilled, cross-functional teams to resolve complex problems
• Can demonstrate your proven experience in a fast-paced environment

Preferred

• Prior R&D Tax Credit experience and understanding of the tax claim process
