My client is a National Civil Engineering Contractor.

The specialise in the Infrastructure and Rail Sectors.

They are currently looking to employ, on a permanent basis, an experienced Contracts Manager with a solid background in delivering Civil Engineering Projects.

They are seeking someone who is capable of running a portfolio of projects valued between £7.5m - £15m. These projects will be spread across a region encompassing Hampshire, Surrey, and Sussex, with a mixture of clients to include Local Authorities, Tier one contractors and National Highways.

The Contracts Manager will provide leadership to their operational teams.

In addition, they will also have overall commercial responsibility for the projects and will be working with the work-winning team. Business development is another key area of the role.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Has managed at Project Management level, a broad section of disciplines such as infrastructure, groundworks, RC structures, steelwork, etc and can demonstrate a high level of understanding in these areas.
• Experienced at working with National Highways owned infrastructure.
• Experience of personal responsibility of running projects or running a portfolio of work in excess of £10 million.
• Detailed understanding of safety leadership from a policy and behavioural perspective.
• Commercially and contractually astute and understands how project and package P&L impacts on corporate finances.
• SMSTS competent.
• Good level of IT skills.
• Good level of programming knowledge.
