Job description
Working as a technician within one or more of the company’s design teams involved in delivering projects across a variety of construction sectors.
Key elements of the role include:
Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard - Civil Engineering Technician:
Training will be given by day release, one day per week during term time. This will be managed under Bridgewater and Taunton College, but the course will be undertaken at the University of the West of England in Bristol.
This apprenticeship role will enable the successful candidate to work within the field of civil, structural and geotechnical engineering design. A great start in the industry, it will open doorways to further study – perhaps a HNC and engineering degree?
Upon successful completion of the three-year apprenticeship, a professional qualification with the Institution of Civil Engineers awaits (TMICE). You will be receiving on-the-job training at the sharp end of engineering.
