Group HR Manager
Location – Near Ormskirk
Salary – £45,000 – £57,500 plus benefits
We are looking for a qualified senior HR Manager to oversee all human resources operations for our client.
You will join a well established management team of a £20+ million turnover business.
The ideal candidate should have solid experience with HR practices and recruitment. You will communicate with the senior managers to express new ideas and suggest solutions, considering budgets and company culture.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for developing the people strategy to meet the goals of the business
- Responsible for supporting managers in the employee life cycle including recruitment, absence management, performance, disciplinary and grievance
- Consult with management and provide daily HR guidance
- Develop the existing small HR team
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement, increase productivity and retention
- Report on key people data and management information, analysis and forecasting to enable development of future policy and business strategy
- Provide HR policy guidance
- Monitor and report on workforce and succession planning
- Identify training needs for teams and individuals
- Evaluate training programs
- Suggest new HR strategies
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years HR experience
- Ideally CIPD level 7
- Excellent people management skills
- Strong background in recruitment, retention and engagement
- Analytical and goal oriented
- Demonstrable experience with HR metrics
- Full understanding of all HR functions and best practices
- Aid the constant development of policies and procedures
