Sheridan Maine is pleased to be working with our esteemed client based in Southampton in their search for a dedicated and enthusiastic Credit Controller. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join a dynamic team and play a pivotal role in managing large volumes of customer accounts.
Key responsibilities of the Credit Controller will include: - Conduct thorough credit checks on new and existing customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Proactively chase overdue invoices through various channels, ensuring timely resolution.
- Process and reconcile invoices.
- Preparation of statements, client status reports and all relevant information as required.
- Collaborate with internal departments and provide administrative support to the team.

The successful Credit Controller will have the following competencies: - Ideally passionate about credit control.
- Strong communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Qualifications or training in bookkeeping or accounts, and experience of Sage 50 Accounts are desirable but not essential as full training will be given.
