DPD UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Finance professional to lead its Financial Accounting, Payroll, and Transaction Processing teams.
This role is internally known as Financial Account Manager, however, you will be operating to the level of a Head Of.
Managing an overall team of 25 with three direct reports, the role entails assuming overall responsibility for Financial Reporting, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, and Accounts Payable for DPD UK.
The role will report directly to the Financial Controller and represents a fantastic opportunity for a talented individual to assume a functional leadership role, helping shape the strategic direction of Finance in a c£2bn turnover business.

To be successful in the role, it is envisaged that you will be an experienced qualified accountant who can demonstrate sound financial and commercial judgement. You will ideally have extensive experience in one of the top accountancy firms, or equivalent in-house experience in a large company. You will be able to evidence experience in Tax and Statutory Reporting.
You will offer clear communication and presentation skills and will have the self-confidence and gravitas to be credible with the Senior Leadership Team of a c.£2bn turnover company.
You will be inquisitive, decisive and be able to calmly handle responsibility.
By nature, you will thrive in a continuous improvement culture, and personally will be able to identify opportunities to make advancements in areas such as management reporting and financial analysis and performance and investment appraisal.
