Job description
We would be over-joyed to hear from an experienced fundraiser who wishes to support young adult dancers with learning disabilities by securing funds to enable their ongoing training, performance and presenting opportunities.
What will you be doing?In order for the dancers to continue their incredible performing and presenting work, Tailfeatherdance is looking for someone very special who is able to source suitable funding opportunities and complete grant applications.
Ideally, you will have demonstrable fundraising experience within the charity / not-for-profit and/or Arts sector, as well as an understanding of how to approach fundraising in the current climate.
This position would suit someone who can work independently at home.

This opportunity would suit someone who is a passionate advocate for vulnerable adults and who wishes to support the life chances of others, as well as their aspirations in the arts.
What are we looking for?Someone who sees these dancers and thinks 'Wow, I need to help them to carry on!'
Vision is wonderful but turning that vision into reality is a talent!
Someone with tenacity and a big heart would be ideal.
Key skills:
It would be of enormous value to have someone who can translate ideas and vision into clear and concise project summaries.
What difference will you make?This would make all the difference.
With funding for hall hire, salaries, core costs, the dancers would be able to meet weekly to create and develop live and digital performance work. This would enable them to maintain the friendships and working relationships they have as a team. It would continue to develop their confidence as creative dance artists and enable them to explore dance as an art form further.
