Locum Meds are working with a large, fast-paced GP surgery in Wendover and have 2 vacancies for full-time Nurse Practitioners who can independently prescribe. The practice is GP led in the town centre with car parking facilities and access to local amenities.

The practice uses EMIS Web and the role will be triaging patients, assessing, diagnosing and providing prescriptions where necessary. The role involves chronic disease management as well as minor illnesses and injury.

We are looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner with a Primary Care Background, in a perfect world inside a GP surgery The practice are flexible with session times and will consider part-time applications.

You must;

• Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field
• Suitable qualifications and have a live NMC membership as a Nurse Practitioner
• You must be able to prescribe
• Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients presenting with a minor injury and minor medical conditions
