Job description

Our client is a family-owned specialist contracting business that provides process consultancy, mechanical, electrical and controls design, construction, and commissioning services in the UK and Ireland. They are undergoing a period of growth with new and emerging clients across the UK and Ireland and so are looking to recruit for Mechanical Project Engineers to join their team. This is a full-time hybrid role with projects are located in the midlands. The role will have flexibility to work remotely dependant on the stage of the project being delivered. For this reason candidates based in Northern Ireland (head office based in Belfast) or those in the UK will be considered. The Mechanical Project Engineer will oversee mechanical engineering packages, promote health & safety standards on-site, manage schedules and budgets, coordinate teams, and ensure that projects meet quality standards and client requirements. The Mechanical Project Engineer would ideally have capability to use computer-aided design software to develop technical drawings. Requirements Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering and Project Engineering skills
• Proficient with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
• Project Management awareness (NEC 3/4)
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems in the water industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Experience in the construction industry - water industry is preferred
• Chartered certification would be an asset
