What you will do in your working day
If you are a great communicator with a keen eye for detail, looking to take your first steps into administration and develop your career, then this is the start you have been looking for! You will be working in 3 different departments; HR, Purchasing & Sales, which will give you a fantastic varied skillset.
Duties across the departments include:
- General Office duties
- Meet and greet visitors
- Answer incoming calls, forward & answer enquiries
- Booking courses and inductions
- Understanding the recruitment process
- Pre-employment checks
- Updating the company database on a regular basis
- Generating weekly reports for Project Managers
- Purchase requisition - entering data on sage.
- Raising client invoices
- Completion of pre-qualification documents for new clients

The training you will be getting
Business Administrator Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard:
- You will learn the knowledge, skills & behaviours which will support you for your end-point assessment
- You will take part in a combination of activities, such as face-to-face classroom-based sessions, remote learning sessions, work shadowing and online learning, to support your learning and development
- Functional skills if required
- You will be required to undertake training sessions with Avant Skills Academy every other week, throughout the length of the apprenticeship
