FPGA/ASIC Engineer – Cambridge - £50,000 - £80,000 pa

An world leading Electronics R&D company are looking for an FPGA/ASIC Engineer to join their team developing next generation technology used in the consumer & video/imaging industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop digital designs for custom IC integration
• Write Verilog and SystemVerilog code for simulation and test
• Create FPGA designs
• Validate and test new designs

Key Skills/Experience:

• Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or another relevant discipline
• Verilog/SystemVerilog
• FPGA/ASIC Design & Verification
• Network interfaces & protocols
• Good knowledge of circuit diagrams & schematics

Any mix of the following is nice to have:

• Testing, scripting, CI/CD automation
• Python
• Embedded firmware
• CPU architecture
