Job description
An interesting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to work in the busy learning environment of the Joint Training for Adult Community & Health Services Team in Shrewsbury.
You will be a registered health, social work, care professional or equivalent with a specific knowledge and experience in Safeguarding for all ages. You will work with a range of partners to provide learning, development and workforce planning for Shropshire’s Peoples Directorate, social care, and health workforce and beyond to meet Central Government targets and National Minimum Standards for Care. You will support the implementation of legislation, regulatory requirements and national and local initiatives and continuous improvement of service delivery across the sector for people working with all age groups.
You will be based within a team of learning and development professionals and supported by regular supervision, an annual appraisal review and support to manage your own continuing professional development.
