Job description

Ensure monthly budget adjustments and journal entries,including payroll adjustments, are input into the GeneralLedger system in accordance with the budgetary timetable. Investigate and answer queries from client departmentsregarding financial information by using the enquiry facilitiesassociated with the General Ledger system, ESR and otherrelevant sources. Maintenance of records appropriate to the Trusts budgetaryreporting systems Assist in the annual budget setting process. Assist in the monthly forecasting process. Maintain monthly analysis of key lines of income andexpenditure. Complete the monthly recharges through the General Ledgersystem. Day to day maintenance of the approved budget holder listand authorised signatory list. Input information from source documents into the computersystem. Locate and retrieve recorded details of requested items fromthe computer system. Generate and print standard reports on the computer system. Obtain non routine information from the computerizedManagement Information System. Produce spreadsheets for the analysis of numericalinformation. Assist in the production of accurate monthly budgetaryinformation. Undertake regular and ad hoc financial and manpower relatedanalysis, presenting the results in a clear and relevantfashion, as guided by the line manager. To produce and distribute regular monthly reports fromvarious management information systems in addition tomonthly budget statements. To maintain flexible and team working approach, assistingcolleagues as required. Comply with Trust policy on Health and Safety andInformation Governance. Support and promote Trust policy on equality and diversity. Support and promote Improving Working Lives. To undertake other duties as directed by the line manager. To provide cover during periods of absence Be aware of Trusts Standing Financial Instructions andprocedures. To undertake any other reasonable duty, when requested to doso by an appropriate Trust manager. To understand and comply with all Trust policies, procedures,protocols and guidelines. To understand the Trusts Strategic Goals and how you cansupport them. To understand the need to safeguarding children and vulnerableadults and adhere to all principles in effective safeguarding.
