Job description

Our current treasurer of 17 years is set to retire in March 2024. He advises the board of trustees on a quarterly basis, prepares the annual budget with the chief  officer and presents the annual accounts of examination

What will you be doing?

Working with  a paid book keeper who looks after the day to day transactions of payments using Quickbooks. He draws the numbers and creates a spreadsheet.  He keeps in contact with the chief officer and book keeper and advises the board of trustees on a quarterly basis.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for  an experienced management accountant or accountant or experienced treasurer, with a progressive attitude to apply the funds. Our current treasurer is from a business background and and appreciates the value that the charity gives in the community

What difference will you make?

The Charity is a highly regarded organisation, a responsible and well qualified board of trustees discuss trends, agree budgets and over see the Director. The trustees wish to know that the finances are in very good order and in line with expectations ( which they are ).

The charity is well know for its local output and the impact is has locally in all areas of our work
