Job Description
- Procure products and services at the best possible prices
- Identify and engage with potential suppliers
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers
- Monitor supply chain trends and market conditions
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand
- Ensure timely delivery of products and services
- Manage supplier relationships and maintain a supplier database
- Contribute to the company's sustainability efforts
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer should have:
- A degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field
- Experience in a similar role within the FMCG industry
- Knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement software
- A keen eye for detail and a commercial mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
