Bruckshaw Associates are working exclusively with a long-standing, Top 30, Cheltenham based practice client to fill an exciting audit vacancy. This position offers a thriving workplace, lots of progression, and some great benefits.

In this position, you’ll be working with a strong, hard-working, and friendly team to deliver services to a diverse portfolio of clients, predominantly owner-managed businesses (turnover of up to £60m). The key duties are:

• Audit planning and control of fieldwork for client portfolios
• Delivering high quality, fully compliant financial statements
• Identifying areas of risks within clients’ businesses and defining the appropriate audit approaches
• Assisting in the management, motivation, mentoring, and development of the team
• Using knowledge of clients to anticipate and address challenging, complex, and interesting issues

The successful candidate will:

• Be ACA or ACCA fully or part qualified
• Be confident with Excel and Microsoft Office
• Have good communication skills
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be aspirational, motivated, and enjoy working in a team
