We have a fantastic opportunity for a Skilled Operative to join our team at our offices in Porthmadog, Gwynedd. We are looking for a colleague who is already within this position; or looking to take the next step in your career. We are open to applications from candidates who live in; or can commute from some of the following areas: Portmeirion, Criccieth, Barmouth, Machynlleth, Llanbrynmair, Llanuwchllyn, Bala, Llanrwst, Ruthin, Denbigh, Bodelwyddan, Abergele, Colwyn Bay, Conwy, Llandudno, Abergwyngregyn, Bangor, Bethesda, Caernarfon, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Crewe, Nantwich, Oswestry and the surrounding areas.

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Skilled Operative and on a day to day basis, the responsibilities of the Skilled Operative will include the following (not exhaustive):
Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to the correct quality standards
Operating machinery and power tools
Laying drainage pipes, pavements and manhole covers
Laying kerbs and channels, along with digging trenches
General labouring duties
Mixing and pouring concrete
Handling construction materials and tools
Completing plant defects sheets
The ideal candidate will be a Skilled Operative who is in receipt of the following:
A positive work ethic and attitude
A CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card
Full UK Driving Licence
CPCS Card for Dumper & Roller
Although not essential, experience in Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness and completion of a First Aid at Work Course would be beneficial in your application.
