Job description
Global Pathogen Analysis Service Ltd (GPAS Ltd) aims to revolutionise the diagnosis and treatment of infectious diseases by developing Whole Genome Sequencing-based metagenomic and individual pathogen clinical tools with the ultimate aim of developing an ‘always-on global pathogen metagenomics system with the ability to identify Pathogen X and provide early warning of disease epidemics.’
Built by a long-established world-leading pathogen genomics team from the University of Oxford, supported by the cloud computing scale and security of Oracle Inc, and generously funded by Larry Ellison, GPAS is a global, turn-key solution that systematises how data from genomic sequencing is processed.
GPAS Ltd is scaling at pace, with the aspiration of developing pipelines to analyse a range of pathogens and deliver solutions to laboratories, hospitals and public health organisations around the globe.
The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Market Researcher to join our team 2 days a week for 3 months (with the possibility of an additional 3-month extension). The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, a strong eye for detail, good communication abilities, and a keen interest in business development.
As a Market Researcher at GPAS Ltd you’ll have an amazing opportunity to work with some of the sharpest minds on one of the most cutting-edge software as a service (SaaS) tool in the pathogen analysis market. Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Support for user-focused and industry horizon scanning research
